This is a basic raspberry wheat all grain recipe I came up with. 5.5 gallon batch 89% efficiency
5 lbs 2 row
4.3 lbs of Belgian wheat
.25 lbs Munich
.4 lbs of caravienne 20
1 Oz hallertau 60 min
Wyeast 1056 2 weeks in primary, 1 week secondary, and then kegged
1.5oz of Mccormick raspberry extract added in secondary
Mash at 149 degrees for 60 min
1.056 OG
1.010 FG
This was the first time brewing this beer and I am pretty happy with the results. For the next brew I plan on upping the wheat and lowering the 2 row. It has just enough raspberry flavor while not overpowering.
