Raspberry Ice Cubes in Oatmeal Stout

I was not sure to put this, so I put it here.

Today I got some raspberries and nuked them with a little water and a lot of sugar. I mixed everything up and put it in a little ice tray. Later on, I put several cubes of this stuff in the bottom of a glass and poured oatmeal stout over it.

I'm not a big fan of brewing with fruit, and the only sweet stout I ever tried was gross, but this is different. I'm adding fruit to something I already brewed.

Anyway, it's really good.

I can dig it - I love raspberries in general, and while it's super early for it, with the run of unseasonably warm weather we in the northeast have been enjoying this "winter" I've been thinking about brewing another batch of my raspberry hibiscus wheat beer...

Looks wonderful. Unfortunately, hibiscus gives me nightmares.

I think it might be better to chill this stuff instead of freezing it.
