How about we start a random thoughts thread in here? I've had a few conversations with people that have all said that the RTT has been losing some steam which has in turn made them less active in it. I, myself, haven't even opened it in months, and refuse to do so with the quality of posts significantly getting worse.

So how about it?

Biggest issue I have with RTT is that there's simply way too many posts at this point, to the effect that it's impossible to follow if you miss even one day. And that's because a lot of them are chat-room quality "this is what I just did a minute ago" type stuff.

I just go in there and post a random thought. I don't get wrapped up in the different conversations, and usually only post follow up if I am tagged or quoted in the thread. Do people actually read every ******* post in there?

Depends on my mood and the timeframe that I missed. I used to skip over the night crew unless it was a Friday/Saturday. Now I just skip everything. I miss RTT from 2 years ago, and was hoping this would pick up like that.

It has always been the "chatty" thread. It's just that 1v1willwreku, backfat and Arbitrator are funnier people than Josh, @sb532841 and SeaWatchman.

Anyone else travel internationally frequently? I tell you what, ain't nuthin' like the good ole USA. I certainly haven't been "everywhere" as some people claim to have been, but I've been to 10 or so foreign countries of varying degrees of worldliness. Within a week, I'm dying to go to Home Depot, buy some **** to build, build some ****, drink beer, and eat a 5 Guys burger. Does that make me an American *******?

I do. It's like a horrible, horrible addiction. Most of it I just quickly skim, though.

Just poked around the Saddle and Sickle Graveyard as I haven't been in here in a while, when I noticed this:

Maybe we could coordinate trolling the boards with different things. Example, if enough people posted about getting the newest Bourbon, and it selling out, people would believe it. I just feel that we have a great group of trolls here and we should put our powers together for something!

the one thing I always miss when I leave the country is ketchup. Other countries can't do it right
