How does it taste and what estimated ABV? sounds like a real windfall, but on reflection, I'd still mostly be drinking the beer I brewed.

On the other hand, that's a pretty cool vessel and free booze is not a bad thing. Good to have a STB, strategic booze (or beer) reserve.

It's probably around 100 proof. Since it's homemade it's impossible to know exactly. And it tastes faintly like plums. The pear version has a more distinctive pear flavor.

Just like a designer to come up with a solution to a minor problem that already has a solution and create something that is only usable in that minor scope of use.

Don't know about you, but on the rare occasion I've shoved a beer into beach sand, the flat bottom never gave me any trouble.
