That is disconcerting, to say the least. I never knew the alpaca was master of the stink-eye. I would either wave or try to look like a puma.

I've always thought that car makers need to have two horns on their cars: The friendly "hey, the light turned green" horn and the angry "You are an A**h***" horn. That way you avoid the angry Alpaca look when you are just using your horn to be helpful.

That's a pretty good idea. Tho really, the person screwing with their phone and holding up traffic at a green light needs the a-hole horn too.

The best California coverage I saw was on the BBC with the reporter asking beach goers what they were going to do. One family decided to drive to higher ground because the youngest daughter got scared when the reporter spoke to them, while a pair of long boarders were going to wait at the beach to see if they could catch one of the waves. Just a perfect slice of California culture.
