And I don't recall ever seeing gutters on a barn, but I don't think I've seen a white roof on one, either...

The barn is over a 100 years old but the roof got replaced a few years after a wind storm.

Chantarelle, I think the name is golden chantarelle in English.
There is a darker variety growing later in autumn we just call "autumn chantarelle" but we don't get them this far north.
