You guys make wanna get a new turntable as mine is very entry level and the rest of my stereo equipment has been upgraded to hi-fi .. so I just looked at marantz yeah, gonna have to wait a bit on that upgrade.

There are plenty decent turntables you can get for 100-250 dollars.
Even new production ones if you don't want to track down a good condition used one.

Yeah that's what I was previously looking into... well see, maybe Santa will make that decision haha.

I highly recommend the Audio-Technica AT-LP120BK-USB Direct-Drive Professional Turntable which is what I bought a few years back. I has both analog and USB outputs. I'm using the latter to digitize my albums (approx. 2,000) slowly but surely using Audacity software. It is time consuming, but let's me take my vinyl on the road with me on my Walker HiFi player.

I have been very happy with my Fluance Rt-85. It is about $500 and it is one of the better ones, based on my research when I was shopping for one, before you really start to spend $$$ for smaller and smaller returns.

My nephew's wedding party, in our barn. Thankfully he has the dance floor on the other side of the house.

I have been very happy with my Fluance Rt-85. It is about $500 and it is one of the better ones, based on my research when I was shopping for one, before you really start to spend $$$ for smaller and smaller returns.

I got the same one about a year ago, couldn't be happier!

My brother in law would have loved it, unfortunately his son and especially his new daughter in law would not have been happy. She did not want a country wedding(city girl), she wanted a Bollywood dance wedding in the city her family all live in. Her sister is a Hindu dance instructor, she and her mother are dancers and a group of them danced for the crowd for about 10 dances.

i was going to say they look like bilberrys to me. my favorite berry .

bilberrys pack more blueberry flavor than traditional blueberries imo.

they make the best wine .

fortunately they bottle the juice (100% - no addititves)

Up at our property in the NH White Mountains we used to have a nice patch of wild low bush blueberries that were highly productive for decades. But almost fifty years later now that patch is all gone as the tree canopy became too dense to support anything growing at ground level. A Hobson's choice - we love the trees, too...

My wife and I took a sis in law to visit an ancient underground quarry where 2 craftsmen used local stone to carve some of the buildings towns of the Angers area of France. In addition to the cool carvings the quarry stays 58F year round so it was very pleasant on a 102F day. Many of the carvings were done on 4-8 ton blocks of stone, others were carved directly into the quarry walls.

Here's one of the carvings and a photo of the actual church.

My wife and I took a sis in law to visit an ancient underground quarry where 2 craftsmen used local stone to carve some of the buildings towns of the Angers area of France. In addition to the cool carvings the quarry stays 58F year round so it was very pleasant on a 102F day. I googled crooked spire in France and there is a twisted spire wiki that says France has 70 twisted spires.

There are a couple possible explanations in this link as well a good wives tale at the end.

I would expect that bent St Maurice church steeple was a twisted spire that was failing...
