So far I've just been lurking on the forums and reading, I've gotten a wealth of information and wanted to say thanks for that!

Last week I was sanitizing my bucket using an Idophor solution when I got a phone call and forgot about the solution being in the bucket for a half hour or so.

So now the bucket reeks of iodine, I've tried filling the bucket with hot water and soaking it for a while to see if it might leech some of the smell out but no luck.

Before I use the bucket again I wanted to ask if I should retire the bucket or should I not worry about the strong iodine smell affecting the flavor?

Thanks in advance for any assistance!:mug:

Oxyclean or PBW soak will clean it right out. Then don't leave the sanitizer in for as long, you can pour it in something stainless if you want to save it.
