Quick Question on Secondary Ferment

Hey all!... I put my first brew in the secondary on friday and i just checked it.. and it looks like its split up in 2 colors a dark brown on top and a more amber red on the bottom.. top being clear and bottom being murky ish. I was wondering if this was part of the clearing phase or did i do something wrong the creation? or is it normal ( which i am hoping )

Nope, it's normal. Even though the top looks like it's getting darker it really is getting clearer.

Basically, the light is not reflecting off of the yeast...since it's not there.
