I just kegged for the first time and I'm trying to sanatize the tap lines. This is the first time I'm using a CO2 tank and regulators, here's the one.

I conected the tank tightly to the regulators and opened up the tank. The main filled regulator went to 800. When I opened the individual PSI regulator closest to the tank, nothing happened. I tried several times but nothing worked.

There was a plastic washer that I put between the regulator and the tank connector, was that right?

What is with the screws that point outward that are lose, is there something I', not doing there?

What is it that I'm doing wrong?

Did you adjust the set screw to show the desired pressure?

Turn the screw with no pressure until the guage shows what you want.. then open the main and it will pressurize that side to what you set.

It must be the pretruding screws forward when you have the regulators attatched and the tank upright, no?

If the set screws are loose in their threads, that means they aren't pressing on the diaphragm thus the pressure is set to zero. Turn the screws in until you start seeing the pressure rise on the gauge.

Yeah, it seems backward, but you have to tighten the low side screws (the front ones) to open the diaphram. Remember to loosen the jam nuts first, then after you get them set tighten the jam nuts to hold it all in place. Remember to do all this slowly, and be careful. You could blow a low side gage easy if you just crank on it.
Happy Kegging!:rockin:
