Do you guys that force carb in the kegs, leave the beer out line connecting while coming up to carb level? I had a batch with gas at 16psi to carb for 2 weeks and still flat as can be. Sprayed all connections on keg with starsan, no bobbling. Only thing I can think is that I'm using a picnick tap so maybe it doesn't seal good enough. I just disconnected the beer out line 2 days ago to try that. Just curious if the picnick taps give an air tight seal when closed if maybe that was my problem. I could feel air coming out, but if it was a real slow leak maybe?
This is my 2nd keg but my first with ball locks. my first has a converted sanke which I blocked the bear out line with a plug while carbing because I didn't have the picnick tap yet. The first was a mild so very low carb at 6psi anyway, but I could tell the low carb was there.
