Quick DME and LME question

Hey guys,

I am finally on spring break and I got some older(ish) hops that need to be brewed before they go bad. I rounded up another carboy from a buddy and I am looking at making and APA and IPA and an Irish Red.

Unfortunately, the store that is near my house only has LME and not DME. I usually go to a place over an hour away but I am in no mood to go downtown to by 15 pounds of DME and come home.

Does anyone have any know the conversion rate from DME to LME?

Roughly 1 lbs LME = 0.8 lbs DME +/- 0.05 lbs, depending on the brand.
