So it was Sunday and I was bored, wanted to brew... But my car was in the shop
Looked around and saw I had 2oz Nelson Sauvin hops, a lb of DME, some table sugar, and some US-05 left...
1lb DME
1gl water + boil-off
Enough table sugar to get it into the 1.050 range (depends on your boil-off, I used 1/3 cup)
1/2pz NS at 60
1/2oz NS at 30
1/2oz NS at flameout
1/2oz NS dry-hop
Fermented 7 days and added dry-hops for another 4. Made 8 bottles I took to a party and it was awesome! Light (approx 3 SRM), super-hoppy, and refreshing!
Who said leftovers have to taste bad?
