I was carbing my corny keg at 18 psi since 10/3 and at some point a slow leak drained the tank. Discovered it was empty this AM and have the beer back under co2 now. I tasted the beer and it is okay carbed with a lacy thin head.

My thinking is to put under 30 for 24 hours and then try again tomorrow.

Any suggestions?

The time it takes the CO2 to dissolve into the beer is dependent on time. The amount of CO2 that will dissolve at equilibrium is based on partial pressure and temperature.

Put the gas at the correct pressure for the target volume at the beer temperature and shake the keg for 15-20 minutes. You'll be able to tell when gas is flowing, stop when the shaking doesn't cause more gas to enter the keg.

Haven't done this in a while.... just remembered if you put the gas on the out post its easier to tell when it's flowing.
