Anyone looked at this? I just had a gander today. They will be making cash hand over fist! It's really quite ingenious. It's mesmerizing, it's something I MUST try to saty away from! I always lose when common sense is a necessity! :tank:

Just read through their QuiBids 101, has some interesting stuff to say, plus always nice to get a MacBook Pro or 1billion inch TV for $.75!

Maybe I'm weird, but I don't trust such sites. It seems too good to be true. I want someone to try it that I know and then tell me how it went for them. Can you try it and let me know? Thanks. LOL

It's no con. A 1c bid costs 60 cents whether you win or not. It's a way to make stupid people poorer. They can sell an ipad for 10 bucks and be in profit at .60 per 1 cent bid.

Not the kind of thing to get involved in without looking at it a lot first to see how it works.....Maybe I should stay away.

This is the kind of innovation that made America great! (Unlike that crappy cheese in plastic wrappers, Meaty) :D

Edit: I just saw a 16gb ipad go for 47c plus $16 shipping. I want one!!

I signed up on a deal to get a bunch of free bids. I burned those free bids quick trying to get other bid packages. I guess it's a timing thing.... I never went back to buy any bids.

Looks to me like it would be best to bid on the ones that have already peaked. Pay more, but lose less bids. I dunno though, still watching. I havn't seen an ipad go over $30 yet.

I may give it a go if I get drunk enough...Yeah, that sounds like a winning plan! :mug:

Wait, so you spend $0.60 a bid; "someone" (aka, quibids computer) outbids you, so you bid again @ $0.60, over and over and over?

Yep!! That's why I reckon it's best to bid at the higher level, say around $28 for an ipad to lower the amount of bids against others (Or the quibids computer)

Hey, I'm not recommending this site, I'm just finding it fascinating! :p

It does seem feasible to get an ipad for about $100 or much less after all the fees etc

With all the OCD shop-a-holics out there - I wonder if the common man can ever get a deal...

The people on that site are the ones hanging outside of Wal-Mart 30 hours before black friday starts...

That being said; there was a sweet "deal" on a digital SLR! :D

Like I said earlier. It is a great site to make stupid people poorer.......Which is why I'm not jumping in myself just yet. Clint told me that a man has to know his limitations! :fro:

so at 47c that is $28 bucks not bad...
but if the bid goes up to say 50c and you re-bid to you pay for the total of the bid $30, or just the 3c increase from your first bid

Socialism at it's finest!!! LGI get's an ipad for $0.47; the company gets paid full price, because the rest of us spent $0.60/bid! :D

I call bull****....

Watching one now for the ipad. The count-down "clock" resets to 0:20 seconds everytime someone bids...

BTW, I'm not a socialist per se. I advocate capitalism with social responsibility. Take it to the debate forum where I will ignore that thread. ;)

no, no, no, no - I was not putting a political spin on it!!!! Seriously - I was just pointing out the socialistic concept of you getting a product for cheap because we all paid a small amount for it. :p

So, LGI, have you won anything yet? :D
