Hello all, This is my first post and I have a question. After some extensive research, i purchased a 60 qt pot from Update International. I need to drill the holes to have the couplers welded in the pot. I read that the coupler for the ball-valve should be aproxiatmely 3/8 of an inch above the bottom of the pot. My question is how far up do i need to go for the thermometer coupler? Also does the placement of the coupler differ on the size of the batch that a person is brewing? I plan on starting with 5 gallon batches. Thanks in advance for everyones help.
