Question about wiring ITC-2000 Temperature Controller

I was using the diagram below to wire the ITC-2000 I recently purchased but noticed that the inputs are different on mine. What do the inputs on the STC-1000 correlate to on the ITC-200? Why does my ITC-2000 have alarm and loading instead of heat/cool?

Other than the probe and power inputs, they don't, really.
The STC is a dual-stage unit that can simultaneously control a compressor and a heater; the single-stage ITC can only do one or the other.

Because it's different. Not the same.

So how do I wire this to a receptacle, with one input for heating and one for cooling?

You can't. Because you can only have one or the other.

Again, you bought a single-stage controller. It cannot control a cooler and heater at the same time, hence there's no way to wire it to do so.

Thanks for the reply. I guess I was confused because the description below says the STC1000 is a dual stage controller and the STC2000 "adds the ability to set both high and low temperature alarms." I assumed the 2000 was the same as the 1000 but with additional alarms.

That was my assumption as well, but I bought the ITC-1000 because I didn't need the alarms. Turns out, ITC-1000 is dual-stage and ITC-2000 is single stage. Weird, huh?

I also purchased the ITC-2000 not knowing that it only heats. What I am wondering is, why does the display on the front still say Cool as well as Heat? Can the unit be set to do either, but only one at a time?

Yes, as stated earlier, that is a single stage controller, so it can do Cool or Heat, just not at the same time...
