I have two of these Johnson controllers and like them a lot (one for my kegerator, one for my fermentation chamber). No wiring/rigging needed, just plug in, enter your desired parameters, and go. You're up and running in 2 minutes.

^ Thanks. But is that for lager only? $79 dollars i can work with but I need a standard fridge to be a steady 60 degrees.

Yeah these would be for fermentation right now. Mostly doing IPA so around 60/70 degrees steady would be fine.

I use it for both ales and lagers. I have a stout fermenting at a steady 65 degrees in my chest freezer right now.

+1 on the Johnson controllers. You set the tempurature to whatever you want and it'll hold your fridge/freezer at that temp. I use mine for ales/lagars and even to cold crash (I kick it down to like 34 for the last couple days to let everything drop out).

Another vote for the Johnson contollers, I use an STC-1000 for my fermentation fridge but that involves wiring it up which youre not interested in (although its a lot easier then you think!).

I use the Johnson contoller in my keezer and its perfect.

If only the Brewbit was shipping, I would suggest that instead. I cannot wait till March to get mine!
