Question about recipe

I noticed that it does not include pectin enzyme or a yeast nutrient. Would it work better if I added those items?

Yes on the yeast nutrient.
Not sure on the pectic enzyme, don't think the syrup would need it but if you're using clear juice, I'd say you don't need it.
