Question about Cream Stout

I'm looking over a recipe for making cream stout and I was wondering... when do you add the lactose in an all-grain recipe?

Probably a silly question but I'd hate to screw it up by not knowing.

You can add lactose any time, at mashing, boiling, etc...there are some HBT threads that discuss it in a deeper manner.

Here's an excellent recipe - Deception Cream Stout. Very popular among my "clientele". I add the lactose toward the end of the boil, but it's not really critical.
