Question about Cascade Hops

If cascade hops are used for the bittering hops in brewing, will you still get the citrus grapefruit flavor, or will that flavor disappear from a 60 boil? Thanks

The aroma and flavors boil off over the 60 minutes. You won't be getting the cascade citrusy flavors.

It depends on the rest of the recipe. If you are not adding any late hops and/or this is a more delicate beer you will get some citrus notes from the cascade. They will be more mild than if used late in the boil but some flavor/aroma will come through.
