This is my first time posting on here, even though I've been lurking around and reading the forums for help. I've got two meads(both tasted the way bandaids smell, so i guess they got infected or something), a beer to be bottled on Super Bowl Sunday, and then these two 1 gal jugs of cider that have been in secondary for about 2 month. I took a sample out to taste, and its good, but I would like a bit more apple taste to it.

So my question is this: To get a bit more apple taste in it, and to carbonate it, would it be advisable to use juice instead of corn sugar or other substitute? If so, how much would one use for, say a gallon batch. I'm also guessing that the amount to use would depend on its SG?

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for the information. That link was really helpful and answered almost all of my questions.
