Pumpkin beer? Pumpkin tap!

I thought of this as a fun idea to serve my pumpkin beer at our Halloween party last night! It turned out to be a big hit!

I was worried about how the pumpkin would support the tap, but it was much stronger than I thought. I did reinforce the pumpkin with some wood just in case.

Thanks everyone! And because it isn't clear, I have the pumpkin on a little homebuilt table. I have the keg under the table in a trashcan of ice. It almost looks like that could be a kegerator covered in a Halloween table cloth, but it isn't.

You could put some dry ice and water inside that pumpkin and maybe put a few holes in it, then you'd have fog coming out of it....and help cool your beer.

Haha I had thought of that, but I would have to somehow seal the hole in the bottom of the pumpkin I cut for the beer line. Unless I just used a container of water and dry ice for the same affect, it just wouldn't cool the lines that way.
