I had a pumpkin ale kit that I made back in November. It was in primary for three weeks and then in secondary for three weeks. According to the kit the og was supposed to be 1.059 and I used fresh pumpkin juice instead of the canned pumpkin it called for. My measured og was 1.065. The fg was supposed to be 1.015-1.019 however my actual fg was 1.024. There has been no airlock activity.
Is anyone familiar with pumpkin juice? Is it higher in unfermentable suger?
Or should I expect bottle bombs?
