Pumpkin Ale Recipe for my non beer drinking wife?

I'm not really a fan of pumpkin ales. I'll have a couple Shipyard Pumpkinheads each year but then I'm done. My wife who doesn't drink a lot but loves Pumpkinhead asked me to brew her a pumpkin ale for the fall. Any excuse for me to brew is good so I'm looking for a recipe that's light enough for a light beer drinker but good enough that my friends will drink what she doesn't. Any suggestions?

I'm with you, not such a big fan of the pumpkin beers. My advice would be to not go too light, these beers need a significant malt base for the spices to play against. The link above to the appropriate section of the HBT recipe database is a good idea.
