My caribou slobber was in the primary for three weeks and bottle conditioned for two. It tastes and smells great but it has no head or lacing. Although there is no head it has a ton of little bubbles in the glass. I used fizz drops for carbonation , any ideas what I did wrong ? Thanks

Hmm, dunno. I made a one gallon kit and it was borderline gusher in the bottles. I do not suspect an infection. Happened with the raspberry Hefeweizen I made for my wife as well. For now, I'm considering the carbonation drops I used to be suspect.

The drops are just sugar, like a form of hard candy optimized for brewers. Two weeks is on the short side of how long bottle conditioning takes. In a third week I'll bet you'll see some better carbonation happening.

Thanks guys , I will give them another week or so and make sure my glasses are clean.
