Hi ya'll, just got a quick question. I will be bottling my homebrewd IPA within a week and wanted to ask this before I forgot. My ingredient kit came with 5 oz. of priming sugar (Dextrose) for the 5 gallon batch. Do I use all 5 oz. like the booklet that came with it says, or does anybody recomed using less. All the info I can find just says to use about 3/4 cup. Does this equal 5 oz.? Thanks, Beercanman:)

If you are a risk taker who likes very carbonated beers and your batches go a little over five gallons, you can mess with this general rule a little - but anything over a full cup is an invitation to needless excitement.
