Priming sugar vs carbonation drops

Is there any noticeable difference between using carbonation drops vs priming sugar in regards to taste of the final brew. I'm currently close to bottling my first home brew and will be using the priming sugar that came with my ingredient kit. Just wondering if carb drops don't effect the end result. Any advice would be appreciated.

Great post! I also want to know how many drops do I use with what beers. I have had a bag sitting in my brew box for months but they have little instructions so I have hesitated to drop the drops. I am a new brewer too, on my 5th batch... all a success with priming sugar.

You should not see any difference in taste, carb drops are made out of sugar.
