Greetings all; first post here. Wanted to ask what the thoughts are on the shelf life of priming corn sugar. My brew buddy has a kit he got as a gift about 8 years ago. Needless to say, the grains, hops & yeast were chucked, but I convinced him to keep the priming sugar packet. We've made 2 batches already but used brand new, purchased dextrose. Anyone think this old 8 year old packet is still viable or should we chuck it as well?

TIA.
