I'm making my first Dunkel from a Brewer's Best partial mash kit. I'm wondering if I should just leave it in the primary for the entire time or split it into a secondary at some point? Is there any benefit/harm to leaving it in Primary longer and doing shorter Secondary? Or shorter Primary and longer Secondary? I'm making this batch in a FastFermentor, so the "labor" of going from primary to secondary is as easy as opening and closing the valve at the bottom.

Thanks in advance!

Unless you're planning to dry hop, add fruit or bulk age, there's really no reason to use secondary. That said, When I fermented with US-05 I did find that it dropped clear much faster after racking.
