Anybody have any thoughts on this one?

Using Pressure Washer or Air Compressor Quick Connect fittings for wort / mash transfer?

They seem cheaper than the plastic kind and are readily available at Lowes or Home Depot

I use air compressor quick connects for CO2 distribution in my kegerator.

I think I've read that you need the silicone o-rings found in the more spendy quick disconnects, or they might fail due to the hot temps during wort/mash transfer.

I've got mine through McMaster-Carr, and have been working great.
