Yes! Praise them very much so. I am now ready to begin brewing. I've purchased the last piece of hardware to complete my brewing equipment. Now all that's needed is some cleaning, and sanitizing. Then I will be all set for the holy day of brewing! :rockin::mug::tank:

Yeah I'm making it a lot because I enjoy Blue Moon Belgian White. I've already got an ingredient kit from The Grape and Granary here in Ohio. So it's all a matter of picking a brew day. I think I'm gonna shoot for next Tuesday, or Wednesday.

BWAH HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAH!

I've heard (and said) that before. :D

Reading that again... I don't think you've ever REALLY purchased the final piece of hardware/equipment when it comes to brewing... You might be 'ok' for a while, but eventually, you'll get something else... Then pretty soon part of your place will be fully dedicated to brewing... Then it will start to spill over into other areas. :rockin:

yeah, listen to this. I just brewed my first batch last week, and i have already began putting a shopping cart together for another primary fermentor and a couple more kits. even looking into partial grain recipes. what i saw as a once a month thing is looking like it will become at least an every other week thing.

oh, and i forgot to mention the 3 gal primary for cider that i started today...

I second the never complete comment. I have a complete all grain set up and yet I was caught by the wife the other day secretly researching an all electric system! :)

When I started (a few months back), I had my first batch in the fermenter for all of two days before I went back and picked up another primary and another kit. A few days later I went back and got 40# of honey to make 3 batches of mead (those are still in process)... Went back right after Thanksgiving and got a 1 gallon jug and some cacao nibs so that I could start the Mocha Madness mead... Since then, I've brewed 8 more batches (10 batches of beer so far) as well as a batch of hard lemonade. I brewed all of three extract batches, before one partial (or mostly) mash then went all grain...

I'm already thinking ahead to when I have the space to make a brew stand and more kettles and such... Figuring out what size range of keezer I'll make and how many taps I'll want to have going at one time...

Oh yeah, once the beer gods have you, there's no getting out. You might take a break for X months/years but eventually you'll come back home... :rockin: The sooner you accept that, the sooner you can move forward with the next batch... :ban:

Hahaha ok let me rephrase that. I've got everything I need for now. But I am already looking at more equipment. I've got a cooler in the garage I need to look at. It might possibly be big enough for what I need to do AG. But that'll have to wait till I've got a few extract batches under my belt. Also need to either get a lot more bottles or look more into kegging already. But I'll cross that bridge when I get there.

When going all grain I went as far as to secretly swap my dads cooler drain out for a ball valve and SS screen. He about freaked when he noticed it three months later. As I was hoping he told me to just keep it now that I "ruined it"! Haha.

IF my father was still alive, he'd be brewing right along with me... We'd probably already have a sick setup too... Just the way he was... Do it right, or don't bother... :rockin:
