Power usage

First brew with my 10 5 Foundry yesterday. looks like my power was up over the prior day by 12kwh. with my power charges, extra for energy charges and taxes, I calculate a whole $1.30 of power used by the Foundry. I might be short a bit, but temps have been pretty steady and even if It was double, it pales in comparison to a half a bottle of propane at $20 a refill. I'm a happy brewer.

.... and that does not include the gas, wear & tear, insurance, risk, etc. you save to go get that propane. Or, my favorite savings of all kinds- TIME!

Ultimately, time is our only finite resource. I can always make more money or find the energy to do stuff, but time is limited.
