During the heat wave here in Iowa (high temps near and above 100) the power to my garage went out and thus the compressor on the keezer turned off. The wife called to tell me and I asked her if the inside of the keezer was staying cold. She opened the lid and then forgot to shut it. Thus, all of the kegs were in a 80-90+ F temperature environment for about 16 hours before I got home to fix the problem. Replaced the GFI and got the keezer cooling again. Beer kegs have now been at 42-45 F for 48 hours but the beer does still not taste right. It has a thinner taste than before.
Any ideas on what I might be able to do to help the beer recover or should I just plan on dumping it in a week if it has not come back to being drinkable?
