Potential max pressure from tank

Does anyone know what the max pressure a CO2 tank (20lb, specifically) can generate in order to move beer? I'm brainstorming the subject of moving beer a significant distance (>20ft) and i haven't been able to find any info on the potential psi a keg can generate.

I'm thinking because of the requirement of 10psi per 5ft dispensing tubing (depending on the size), it might not even be feasible to move beer over a certain distance, and i'm trying to determine what distance that is (in theory).

Most regulators can put out 100-160 psi, but the maximum pressure a cornie can handle is 135.

yeah its possible but wouldnt you be overcarbing your beer. I think some bars have pre carbed kegs then push it with beer gass (nitrogen mix)

Well I imagine the absolute max a Co2 tank can put out is 600-800 PSI depending on temp. Now my regulator doesn't let me go above 40 psi, so that's the max for me. As mentioned if you are going to put more than 12 or so PSI of pressure on the beer you'll overcarbonate unless you switch to beer gas (Nitrogen/Co2 mix). The real solution to your issue is to use lareger diameter hose, just use 1/4" ID and you'll be fine for 20ft. I think to balance it you still may need to add some 3/16" or some other way to reduce pressure that have been talked about.
