I pour water over a large, wooden spoon! Once I start my run off, I just draw pitchers of water out of my a bottling bucket. The water has been kept warm in the kettle up until right about time to start runoff so temp loss in the bucket is a non-issue. Takes me about 5-10 minutes to get all of my sparge water in without disturbing the grain bed. Then I just close the lid on my cooler MLT and let gravity do it's thing. Come back to it in about 50 minutes and crank the flame on the kettle!
