Seriously? No one knows?
They post a lot of pictures, but no real details.

Edit: Also, this
So I know I juuuuuust said they'd be in the new spot in June... but after talking to someone today, seems like it'll be July at the earliest. For the best - getting the full Industrial Park experience is awesome.

They just posted on twitter and said 5/21 is the last day at Industrial Way and implied it will be minimum a few weeks until the next place: "This is IT for Industrial Way for us, (and for several weeks after!)"

... So yeah, first week of August maybe?

Ugh. First time in Portland is scheduled for June 27. Totally not happy now :(

Hey you never know, it's possible they could be open then. I think they wanted to still put beer out seemlessly during the move so maybe even if they aren't open they will just be sending cans to stores? Keep an eye on local stores social media when you're here and it shouldn't be hard to find some. And if you just want to drink it you can find it on tap basically everywhere.

4? Please let me know which ones.
Definitely Allagash and Oxbow. Austin Street (I feel pretty strongly about this one). And I, personally, would prefer to go to Rising Tide basically any day over Bissell, but that's an opinion you probably won't find a lot of people supporting. (And Bunker + Foundation are pretty tasty too!).

Wanted to let ya'll know I strolled into Duckfat at 5 p.m. on Friday and was greeted with no wait for a table. That was lovely. I can imagine later in the spring/summer that isn't a possibility. It was great!

No hatred of Bissell from me, btw, as much as I joke before. Bissell is fine. The guys are nice, and they make good beer. I just don't think it's that good, and it's very monochromatic. This isn't like a Night Shift situation where I really don't think most of their beer is good. Bissell's beer is definitely good.

Portland just has some of the greatest beer in the country, and the unilateral focus on Bissell from a bunch of beer people just disappoints me.

I'm focused on everything! I only will be there Sun. -Wed. Unfortunately many won't be open

Should only miss out on Foundation and Austin Street. Well, probably Bissell too unless they're up and running by then.

That still leaves you with Allagash, Rising Tide, Oxbow, Fore River, Barreled Souls and Banded Horn all within ~20 minutes of downtown

I am perpetually surprised by how good Banded Horn's beer is

I still maintain 2013 rum barrel aged Mountain from Banded Horn is the best ba stout to ever come out of Maine (admittedly there haven't been many.) 2014 ba Mountain was also very good but not quite up to '13.

Super underrated. Their wild/sours are not great but the rest of the lineup is very enjoyable.

I really liked their berliner. Had at least one other sour and strongly disliked.

I *thought* I had one of the BA mountains at an ACBF once - my memory was that it was absolutely awful, and I think it contributed to me avoiding them for a while. But that might be a figment of my imagination, I don't see it on my Untappd anyway. I remember HevvyMetalHippie saying he loved that beer.

Maybe, I can't remember that far back. But Banded Horn is good. Jolly Woodsman is great and I'm a fan of Wicked Bueno. But Mexican style lagers are my jam right now.

June 26 portsmouth. 27-30 portland

Going to just miss each other. Going up for Fourth of July weekend.

Backreading and bummed I'll miss Bissell. Oh well

Coming up to celebrate my anniversary. What are the truly great/can't miss food spots in Portland? Any great places to go for a tasting menu?

Definitely a chance Bissell could be open by 4th of July. Wouldn't rule it out yet.

Central Provisions is probably the hot can't-miss food spot in town at the moment. I'm a big fan. Get there early.

If you're looking for a special occasion place with a nice tasting menu take a look at David's Opus Ten. I had a great experience there. It's kind of a restaurant within a restaurant.

If you're sushi/seafood people and a touch adventurous then you couldn't go wrong with the omakase at Miyake (the Fore Street location, not the satellite noodle bar Pai Men).

Only place I would avoid is Hugo's. Not bad food at all but it's the most expensive menu in town and not worth the price imo.

Central Provisions and Miyake were both on my list.

Basically getting up there 7-8ish on Friday July 1st. Dinner Friday night, maybe a bar or two. Nothing crazy.

Saturday will be brewery day. Up early, grab breakfast (or potentially Eventide at open), and Uber out to Austin Street, Allagash, etc. Hopefully hit Bissell as well. Thinking Saturday may be a good day to do Central Provisions considering we could roll by, put our names down, and then just go grab drinks wherever until a table is ready.

Sunday will be more touristy stuff. Fiance wants to do some sort of ferry tour I think?

Welcoming any and all recommendations

Solid plans. Looks like you've done your homework!

I'll give some of my more under the radar spots since you already know the big players. Breakfast: Marcy's (classic diner), 158 Pickett Street (amazing breakfast sandwiches, 10 mins across the bridge in South Portland, you can hit Spring Point and Bug Light light houses down the road if that interests you for cool touristy stuff). Lunch: Blue Rooster, Isa, High Roller Lobster Co is a food cart worth tracking down for a roll, Dinner: Vinland, East Ender, Green Elephant. For cocktails while you wait try Hunt & Alpine Club. These are all on the more casual spectrum except Vinland and somewhat East Ender.

I could talk about food all day :)

David's Opus Ten is definitely happening. Hunt and Alpine also sounds great. Fiance loves kitsch and I heard there's some tiki bar that just opened up. Any good?

My girlfriend's cousin Andrew Volk and his wife are the proprietors of that business. Always glad to see anyone showing support, thanks!!
