4: 1 in kitchen, 2 in basement: fermentation and serving, 1 on back deck: cans/bottles.

6
1 Kitchen fridge
1 Very old avocado green fridge from kitchen remodel now garage beer fridge
1 Upright freezer for human and cat food
1 Fermentation fridge in the brew room
1 6 keg Keezer
1 Keezer for overflow beer storage and nitro cold brew coffee

One for food, one for kegs, and not included but we have a chest freezer for food and a mini freezer used with an Inkbird for fermenting.

Kitchen fridge in the house
Mini fridge in the house

Kegerator in the shop/brewery
Mini fridge for hops and yeast in brewery
Walk-in refrigerated fermentation chamber

And, a glycol chiller, if that counts

4, currently.

1. Main house fridge.
2. 6-tap kegerator and beer storage fridge.
3. Garage food overflow fridge.
4. Fermentation fridge.

I think I need to add a smaller chest freezer, though. Between food for 5 people and all the various meat smoking/freezing that I do, we have problems with freezer space. There's no freezer on the kegerator and I can't use the freezer in the fermentation fridge as it typically is at ale temps in the fridge portion, so my usable freezers are constantly at capacity.

I am counting my 3 chest freezers (keezer, fermentation freezer, wine storage freezer) since they are temperature controlled and never actually freeze.

We have a main LG side-by-side refrigerator and kept the old side-by-side Kenmore it replaced. We also have some vacation property with a small kitchen and a GE refrigerator in it.

I have my eye on another chest freezer with temp controller as well but 6 for right now.

Large upright freezer (kind of a fridge just colder right?)
Standard fridge w/top freezer - garage beer fridge and hop storage
Mini fridge ferm chamber
Kitchen fridge w/ bottom freezer - food and other unnecessary items [emoji14]
Still work in progress side by side ferm chamber/kegerator

5 total for beer, seems just about right:
1. Full size Beer fridge for bottles cans and growlers.
2. Wine fridge converted for aging stouts etc.
3. Full size fridge for fermenting in Speidel
4. Mini fridge fermenter for BrewBucket and Fermonster
5. Kegerator with 2 taps, room for 3 cornies.

1 happy brewer.....

One fridge in house. One freezer in garage. One fridge/kegerator. One keezer (only turned one when fermenting something. I try to brew with the seasons so I’m not constantly running my kegerator.

2, a side by side and an old top freezer in garage. I keep a combo of one or two cornys and one sanke or a cold crashing beer in the garage fridge. Sometimes cans and other drinks and soda stream flavors. Would like to have more cornys on the ready.

Necromancy!

One for food, one in the garage for kegs and a mini I incorporated into a ferm chamber. I want another one for cans, but the wife looks at me like I'm crazy....

She's right....

i should update this old thread also...., i have 4 fridges now!

edit: not quite necro yet, i'm still alive and kicking! ;) :mug:

I still have my 4 but I’m on a CL hunt for a wine cooler for our basement. Something to cold store ciders and mead. Maybe an occasional beer as well

LOL, at this point, i think people just consider giving refrigerators to me, is cheaper then the dump fee!

I forgot!
I have one at my business.... so that makes 4...

honestly looking at the results of the poll....5+ is the most common? DAMN!!!! :mug:

us losers with ONLY 4 gotta get some more fridges so we can hack it with the other homebrewers!

Actual refrigerators: 2... One for food (and sometimes beer). Another is for just canned homebrew (smaller fridge made for that).
Freezers: 2 (chest freezers). One is my keezer and the other chest freezer is for food. I keep hops in the main/kitchen freezer right now, but they might shift down to the chest freezer in the basement/fermentation room/clean project room.

i would count the freezers....they're still refrigerating...just colder.... so you score 4 out of 5+, lol :mug:

When I was a kid in middle school I worked summers at an ice factory. I felt really privileged spending all day in the ice house in July. Ever since that time refrigeration has fascinated me and I have a weird sort of affection for artificial cold.

When I wasn't hauling cases of ice bags down to the filling line I worked on a fork truck. A few times a week I would ride along in a delivery truck to help the driver push pallet loads of ice into local businesses, then I got to stack all the bags in the ice chests while he stood outside smoking. At the end of the week I got an envelope from the boss with three crisp Jacksons tucked inside, and sometimes a half gallon of ice cream as a thank you. They must have all thought I was nuts but I was the happiest kid on my block!

I think I can post this here without judgement...1 large fridge/freezer for the family, 1 lagering freezer with an Inkbird to keep it at 34 degrees, 1 kegerator, 2 freezer fermentation chambers (small), 1 large refrigerator for fermentation (conical), 1 hop freezer, 1 outdoor refrigerator that my wife will not let me use as a ferm chamber, 1 upstairs (never used, but kept cold), 1 small hop freezer, 1 small pantry built in fridge that doubles as a yeast bank. That. Is. It. 11...

Three refrigerators counting the boat and one chest deep freeze that was very well utilized over the past 24 months!

Not judging, just Wow!

After recently responding at length to "cars you've ever owned" thread, I wonder if I want to do that with refrigeration units, even the current ones, let alone old favorites & commercial units.

Yeah, probably not, ....not to say it may not be of more importance, or not, but still, a fascinating topic {' .
