I play acoustic six and twelve string and electric guitar, on and off for 39 years. I also sing. I remember I had a garage band with my friends in high school for awhile (didn't we all back then) and we thought we were great! We were just starting out and we had a blast. We never got out of the garage or played anywhere else!! :). I miss those days! I kept with it though all these years and still play here and there. Maybe I'll write a song about brewing!

I started on cello, and regularly play guitar, bass, drums, and sing. I would say that I have a working knowledge of about a dozen instruments, but I would never describe myself as a master of any of them.

guitar and piano, mostly. Oddly enough play most actively playing bass in two hardcore/punk bands. Just bought the gf a violin the other day and am restoring an old 1950 acoustic.

I've played the bagpipes for about 10 years, besides St Patrick's day and half-way which are great events for the free beer, most times I'm playing funerals. I'm honored to play funerals for family members of police /fire/military but, not very festive occasions for sure.

Baritone and Tenor Saxophones, Bass Guitar, and various homemade electronic synthesizers/sequencers/noisemakers.

I play Bass, and Guitar. I used to play bass in a band, now mostly just a little guitar by myself... I like to play guitar when I'm brewing now days. I think it helps me out too, not stressing about the brew and messing things up due to impatience.

Good timing! I never seen this thread before! :D

Actually practicing Lennon's "Imagine" right now! I used to play it before but i never liked the sound - i was using power chords in the intro - so i looked the tab up on https://tabs.ultimate-guitar.com/j/john_lennon/imagine_crd.htm lastnight! and it sounds a lot better.

Great version and pretty straight forward - to me at least. I've been playing over 20 years.

I play guitar an experimental/progressive rock band called Oceanic. Been together for 10 years and deciding to call it quits after our next release.

Really not sure what to do after that since brewing and the band have become to of my main passions ... Probably focus on opening a brewery with my extra time.

Really fun music.

Over the years, I've seriously played guitar, sax, and to a more limited extent trumpet. Dabbled in a few others (bass, trombone, drums, but never did any seriously). I was pretty good at the first three (although only played trumpet briefly over a summer, mostly self-taught, but got pretty good pretty quickly, was damned good at the sax and decent at guitar). I still have my Gibson in the closet that I've had since the late 90s (have contemplated selling it a few times when I could have used the money, but couldn't bring myself to do it, too much sentimental value), but haven't really played much of anything (outside of singing along in the car) in years. My voice is pretty f***ing bad, although my wife is a trained vocalist.

I've been the lyricist and vocalist for several bands, not so many since SWMBO came into the picture. Karaoke more than anything now
