I have been studying up on DeathBrewer's partial mash techniques and I began to wonder what separates this type of brewing from all grain? It seems like you could just substitute more grains for the extract that is used at the end of a partial mash recipe and (viola) you have an all grain recipe. Eventually I would like to do all grain recipes but do not want to go the mash tune cooler route. Could someone help clear up the confusion?
