got a keggle with a thermometer mounted about in the middle. It's a friend's but it's useless for 5 gallon batches because it's at the 6 gallon mark. I want to relocated it lower with one of Bobby's sight glasses. What's the best way to plug the hole? Use a brass threaded plug into a nut?

Turns out the thermo fitting was straight not pipe threaded. I ended up getting a stainless hex bolt and hex nut, reused the washer on the outside of the kettle (that's the way the thermo was mounted from a friend. I would think inside is better, but idk if his gasket was silicone or not)

Fixed for $1.60
