My brother-in-law asked me about a source for Hop plugs. I drew a blank. Any good suggestions: variety and value? Thanks for the help.:rockin:

Google "plug hops" price First up is midwest supplies, that several members haverecommended for other items.

But why plugs? They are tough to divide and don't have any advantage over whole hops other than being slightly more compact.

If the plugs are about the same diameter as a carboy opening, they would be good for dry hopping. I just dry hopped my 06.06.06 and whole hops are a pain in the back side to shove into a carboy!
