So simcoe is toast. A month or so ago I finished my last Pliny the Elder clone and ever since then every ipa I drink is just not as good as they used to be. So after denial, anger, bargaining, depression, and acceptance I am going to move on and give my own "hop murder" recipe a shot (partial mash)...

What do you hop heads think? Too much?

Thanks. Looks like a reasonable pack.

Stuff is on the left. Click on 'Hops'.

I actually find it to be one of the simplest sites to navigate, no opening page or confusing menu, just simple easy organization.

I must have been half asleep last night. I never saw the "Hop Packs" link. :drunk:

Just made this Pliny clone (based off the one printed in Brew Your Own). Replaced Warrior with Magnum because I had an abundance of the later. The 60 minute Chinook addition was entirely accidental (mash addition also reads as 60 min.) Also had more boil off than I wanted, so ended up with 4.75 gal instead of 5.5.

Boil Size: 7.48 gal
Post Boil Volume: 5.98 gal
Batch Size (fermenter): 4.75 gal
Bottling Volume: 4.25 gal
Estimated OG: 1.083 SG
Estimated Color: 7.2 SRM
Estimated IBU: 285.2 IBUs
Brewhouse Efficiency: 69.00 %
Est Mash Efficiency: 85.4 %
