Hello everyone. This will be my first crack at creating a beer and brewing it. Any suggestions would be awesome. I'm trying to brew a light beer for my wife to drink. She doesn't like hoppy beers. I am limited to a 4 gallon kettle for now. Everything looked ok on the software. But again, my first time.

Whats not in the pic were notes I made for the boil process.

I planned on 60 min boil with the addition of cascade hops at 60 and 30 mins. Whirlfloc tablet. Not sure if my malt selection would be correct for an american light beer.

It’s definitely not an amber. More of a blonde. With the torrified wheat I’d add some rice hulls just as a CYA. Maybe 8 oz.

What commercial beer does your wife like? Your recipe does not seem all that "light" to me. Low hops, yes, but not light in body/mouthfeel. A blonde ale made with all pale malt or with minimal caramel/crystal malt and a low mash temp (149ish) would be likely to come out lighter.
