I am brewing a cream stout and I was supposed to add .75lbs of malto-dextrin at the beginning of the boil but I screwed up and added it with 15 minutes left to the boil... will this be ok? Will it affect the brew at all?

I have no experience with malto-dextrin... so thanks for any input.

RDWHAHB. That's really a better time to add it IMO. You may get ever so slightly better hop utilization.

This recipe has me adding some at bottling also. I was worried because it is a lot... .75lbs. I wasn't sure if it needed to boil for a while first. thanks again or the replies :D
