I am in the market for a plastic conical for 15 gallon batches I noticed inductor tanks go from 15 to 30 gallons nothing in between is anyone using plastic inductor for 15 gallon batches? Wish I could get stainless but that is out of the question

Price out all of the hardware as well. I was considering plastic, but once I added all the valves, fittings and cooling I was looking at the same price range as stainless

I have a 15gallon conical inductor tank with all the fittings. I meant to get around to using it but never wound up doing so. It doesn't have a stand. I bought it years ago from someone else on the forum. I'd be willing to part with it for 100$ but due to size would prefer not to ship. I'm just outside Philly and could reasonably meet somewhere in between let me know if your interested.

Would it do a 15 gallon batch or only 10

Iv'e been considering one of these for 15 gal. batches but won't pay the shipping. They have a supplier near one of the shops I do work at so eventually I'll drop in and pick one up.

Looks like 30 gallon tank is the next biggest size to 15 gallon question what would be better 1.5 inch female threads or 2 inch male threads. I dont like the idea of having threads at the bottom of the cone but if i would get the 2 inch male threads and a 2 inch female adapter to 1.5 inch triclover the exposed threads would be stainles I doubt that the adapter would screw all the way down on the plastic threads

Yeah the 30 gallon is next size up I believe. Not sure which threads would be better as I haven't used this since I acquired it couple years ago. So can't give advice which one is better than the other.
