I'm just now starting to get more into the boozey booze though so I'm kind of a n00b. I didn't even know Blanton's Gold existed until like a week ago.

The last time I called that store asking if they had any idea when they'd get more Blanton's the lady who answered acted like I called up asking for a dram of Mary Magdalene's breast milk. Then today, lo and behold, there it is.

Buddy was traveling out of the States and picked up a bottle for me about two months ago. I'll stick a few two ounce sample bottles of them in my car cooler (which is filled with empty 750s just in case) and if we bump into each other remind me and I can toss them to you.

Yep. They'd been around in the gray market venues for years, but sadly a lot of it was way past prime (at least the bottles - I do recall some delicious kegs of Double Jack).
