Most of the information i have gotten about when to pitch yeast is when my wort cools to about 80 degrees. I did this last weekend, and saw activity within 3 hours (i also used a starter for the first time. I was glad to see such a short lag time, but now the temperature of my wort was a little on the high side. I used WLP005 where the temp should be 65-70. Im guessing that my wort was around 73-74 for about 24 hours. What kind of side effects should i expect, and what should i do next time?
