So this is my first shot at creating a recipe, hoping to get a little feedback or assistance to help ensure it doesn't turn out terrible. Overall, I'm going for a pale ale, with a focus on a pine taste. Imagine Black Husky's Sproose IIPA of sorts (granted, there are a ton of craft breweries out there now) - not meant to be a clone, rather, just within the realm.

Specialty Grains (steep for 20 min)
Carapils 1.5L (Dextrine Malt) 0.5 lbs
Pale Malt (brewers 2-row) 0.5 lbs

Malt Extract
Pale / Gold Malt 6.0 lbs

Hops
Warrior: .5 oz 60 min
UK Northdown: .5 oz at 30, 15, 5. 1 oz dry hop.

Yeast
US West Coast Yeast

Appreciate the help!

No sense in steeping that pale malt. You aren't going to get any fermentables from it. I'd probably replace it with a light crystal malt (20-40L - darker if you want a more English style) for a bit of sweetness and complexity.
