I'm new to the forums so... But I noticed a cheese making and meat forums, why no pickling? Just curious. I just started getting into cukes, peppers and kraut and interested in sharing ideas if there are others out there.

It can go in the cooking forum. It's not dedicated to pickling, but I know we've discussed pickling and foods like kimchi quite a bit in that area.
I was going to be wiseacre and say that the Great Depression is over, so there is no need to pickle food. Then I remembered that we all make our own beer...

ha... I just started, trying to get away from all the processed junk we eat. I did some great peppers, salsa, and working on pickles recently.
